​Q: Where do we send our remaining balance for leagues fees?

Q: What type of payments do you accept?
A: Check, Certified Check, or Credit Card (CC has a processing fee).

Q: How do we submit an updated roster?
​A: Please email all updated rosters to board@gtihl.com

Q: What dates and times does the league host their games?
A: Friday nights between 6-11p, Saturday and Sundays between 9am and 10pm

Q: How many games do we play?
A: Usually, ten regular season games with single elimination playoffs if your team qualifies.

Q: How long are the games?
A: Three, Twelve minute periods. Game slots are scheduled for an hour and fifteen minutes.

Q: What is the minimum and maximum roster size?
A: Roster sizes consist of 7 to 13 players.

Q: How much does it cost to participate in the GTIHL?
A: $1,000 per team

Q: What does our team fee cover?
A: Variety of items which include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Rink Managers, Scorekeepers, Officials, Game Balls, Rink Reservation, Website, Game Day Equipment, etc.

Q: I don't have a team to play on, how can I get involved?
A: We have a Free Agent tab on our website. Register there in hopes of getting a call from a current team manager or create a team yourself.

Q: Do you have time slots open for practice?
A: We do host weekly drop-ins for anybody to participate in. Cost is $5 per player with goalies being free.

Q: Does my team need to purchase matching jerseys?
A: Yes, all teams must have matching jerseys with numbers. 

Q: What equipment is necessary to play?
A: Skates, Helmet (full cage if under the age of 18), Gloves, and Stick are the only items currently required to play.

Q: Are you affiliated with the City of Toledo or the Parks and Recreation Department?
A: No we are not affiliated. The GTIHL is a Non Profit Organization that pays to reserve the rink and carry out league operations however, we do have a great partnership with the City of Toledo Parks and Recreation Department and appreciate their collaboration with our league to make this all possible.
